Things to Know About Your Painted Bible

Not only is your Bible God’s holy, true, living Word, but your painted Bible is also a work of art. As with any hand-painted piece, you may notice variations in color, paint texture, and visible brushstrokes. Your Bible has been hand-painted using acrylic paint and sealed with an acrylic sealer.

Because a Bible is naturally flexible and meant to be handled, some minor cracking may occur over time. This is inevitable due to the Bible’s flexing and use. With this in mind, gentle handling is recommended.

Normal wear and tear is not covered by the artist. Rather than viewing it as damage, consider it the patina of life—adding uniqueness, character, and meaning to your special Bible.

No refunds or Exchanges. Each Bible is hand-painted with acrylic paint, prayed over and sealed with an acrylic spray. Before the Bible is sealed an email(if provided) with a photo will be sent to check for spelling errors.

🩷How long does it take to get my Bible?

Your Bible will be ready to ship approximately two weeks after your order is received.

🩷My Bible is starting to show signs of cracking. Is this normal?

Yes. This is inevitable with handling and normal use and is not covered by the artist or Wandering Tulips.

🩷Do I need to reseal my Bible?

If you notice wear or cracking around the creases, you may wish to reapply a thin coat of acrylic sealer. This should not be done more frequently than every three to six years.

🩷Should I clean my Bible?

Yes. Your Bible will benefit from occasional dusting with a slightly damp cloth.

🩷Can I send you my Bible to paint?

Unfortunately, we are unable to do that.
